Tetra ReptoFilter for frogs, newts and turtle terrariums is the only terrarium filter you’ll need. With efficient, three-stage filtration, Tetra ReptoFilter promotes clean, clear water in as little as 2 inches of water, making it ideal for the low-level aquatic environments small aquatic animals prefer. This small filter is easy to conceal behind a plant or other decorative object, and its lid keeps reptiles out. It removes debris, discoloration, odors and ammonia from terrariums. Tetra ReptoFilter is easy to set up – simply attach the suction cups and insert the cartridge – and simple to clean. Replace the filter cartridge every four weeks. You can even create a waterfall by camouflaging the ReptoFilter with rocks. This UL Listed product features a 2-year limited warranty – see product label for details. Available in 20 gallon/90 GPH and 50 gallon/125 GPH sizes. Since 1951, Tetra has developed the world’s most comprehensive body of fish food knowledge, and fishkeeping enthusiasts have looked to the brand for products and solutions that add ease and beauty to their home. Whether you're an experienced hobbyist or just starting out, Tetra has everything you need – from a large variety of quality fish food and innovative equipment to test kits and decor.
1.Insert suction cups. When pressed firmly and twisted, the suction cups will fit snugly into the holes in the back of the ReptoFilter. If they don't go in easily, a small screwdriver can be used to gently guide the suction cups into the holes. 2.Insert the filter cartridge and foam grid. (Note: The front of the foam grid is marked "front" and should face the front of the filter.) 3.Insert ReptoFilter inside the aquarium and press the suction cups against the aquarium glass. Drape wire over the aquarium wall. 4.The lip of the ReptoFilter should be above water level, and the bottom of the filter should be submerged in at least two inches of water. When positioning plants and other items, take care to leave at least 1/2" clearance around the filter's intake area. 5.Attach ReptoFilter lid.
